Twitter Music

Twitter#MUSIC

Twitter bought music discovery service “We Are Hunted” last year.

Now, Twitter is using this technology to develop music application for iOS. It’s called Twitter#Music. As you’ll remember Vine, the video sharing app that Twitter released in January. It wasn’t popular. Twitter Music will suggest artists and songs based on iTunes, Spotify and Rdio. The songs will play from SoundCloud. Another argument, this project will have images. Twitter Music uses four sections;

Suggested

This tab recommends songs and artists, based on artists they already follow.

#nowplaying

This tab shows songs being tweeted by people you follow on the social network or in the app. We Are Hunted co-founder Stephen

Phillips’s tweet;

Popular

This tab shows most share songs based on a user's profile.

Emerging

This tab makes list about new songs, artists and album.

Twitter Music looks fun to share music. It may be successful but it may not.
